Getting started
- Aerial plays music through Apple Music, so you need an Apple Music subscription and to allow Aerial access to Apple Music when it asks.
- Start a station by describing what you want to hear, like "late night drive, synthwave and dark pop". The station keeps going and adjusts as you listen.
- Skip, like and dislike freely; that's how a station learns. Long-press skip to say why.
CarPlay and Siri
- Aerial appears in CarPlay once your iPhone is connected. Your saved stations and playlists are there, ready to play.
- Ask Siri to play a station, or to skip a song on Aerial.
Common questions
The music stopped or a song didn't change
Check that Apple Music plays on its own and that you're connected to the internet. Without a connection, Aerial keeps playing songs you already know until it can reach its server again.
A station isn't sounding right
Edit the station's prompt, intensity or Sound, or dislike a few songs and say why. Stations learn quickly from what you skip and what you play through.
Does it work on my other devices?
Your stations, playlists, likes and history sync through your own iCloud to your other iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account.
Managing or canceling a subscription
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds go through Apple as well.
Your data
See the Privacy Policy for what stays on your devices and what is sent to choose songs.
